Millennial history and endless sandy beach
Obzor is more than 3,000 years old and was originally created by the Thracians, and in the first millennium BC. Greek settlers gave it the name Heliopolis – Sunny City. After being conquered by the Romans, a temple of the god Jupiter was built and the city received the name Theopolis – God’s city. The ruins of the temple can still be seen. Later, the Byzantine emperors set up their summer residence in the city.
In Obzor, among the picturesque forest, on the promenade itself, we chose to build the House of the Sun – Domus Aurea. Here you can experience the millennial history and charm of the ancient city, combined with the purity of the sea water in the bay and the beauty of the endless sandy beach.
